The Nigeria Learning Passport (NLP) is a free digital learning platform by UNICEF, Microsoft, and the Federal Ministry of Education. It offers courses in Digital Literacy, including 3 Generative AI courses that teach you the fundamentals and advanced concepts of AI.
Step-by-Step Guide
Visit the Nigeria Learning Passport
Go to nigeria.learningpassport.org and click on "Get Started" to create your free account. You can register with your email, phone number, or a username.
Go to nigeria.learningpassport.org on your phone and tap "Sign In" at the bottom left corner to create your free account or log in.
Log In or Create an Account
Enter your credentials to log in if you already have an account, or click on "Create Account" to create a new account.
Search for the Generative AI Courses
Click on the search bar, type in "Generative AI", then hit search or press Enter on your keyboard.
Find & Complete All 3 Courses
The search results will display and you are to look for all the 3 courses with the titles below and complete them individually:
Come Back & Claim Your Data Incentive
Once you've completed all 3 courses, come back to this page to claim your data incentive. Enter the NLP username, email, or phone number you registered with, plus the phone number you want to receive data on.
Note: Only those who have completed all 3 Generative AI courses will receive the data incentive.

How long does it take to receive the data?
If your completion is already verified, you'll receive the data within 24-48 hours. If pending verification, it may take longer as we await confirmation from the NLP team.
Do I need to complete all 3 courses?
Yes. You must complete Generative AI — Foundation, Medium, and Master to qualify for the 6GB data incentive.
Can I claim more than once?
No. Each NLP account can only claim the incentive once.
My status says "pending verification" — what does that mean?
It means we haven't received your completion data from the NLP team yet. You'll receive your data once the verification is complete. No action needed from you.
What network does the data work on?
You'll receive data on the network associated with the phone number you provide (MTN, Airtel, Glo, or 9mobile).
